Tobacco Warehouse Demolition

Covering an entire city block, this 88,000 square foot building was once a tobacco warehouse. Built in sections ranging from single stories to as many as three, this building sat atop a 6 inch thick concrete floor, with multiple layers of brick wall and a roof of steel trusses and wood. Housed within the walls of this once warehouse were several boilers, originally used to power the numerous machines that once occupied the space.

We were contracted to demolish and remove the structure and the contents within. Upon completion of the demolition, the property was to be graded and seeded to comply with specifications issued by the city of Rocky Mount. The vacant lot that once housed the massive building stands as a testament to our level of expertise and the quality of our work.
